| HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS Auburn, Belvidere, Belvidere North, Boylan, East, Freeport, Guilford, Harlem, Hononegah and Jefferson field class AA teams that compete in the Northern Illinois Conference (NIC-10). Girls compete in the fall and boys compete in the spring. Coaches determine which team members play singles or doubles. At the end of the season, players compete in the Conference Tournament. Winners advance to the Sectional Tournament. Those who win at sectionals advance to the State Tournament. Students who attend Keith or Lutheran play non-conference matches during the season. They may also compete in the Sectional and State Tournaments because their schools are members of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). Spring 2011 High School Boys Tennis Playoffs
