Rockford Tennis: For Tennis Players Who Want to Compete

TENNIS COURT LOCATIONS
During the indoor season, September – May, Rockford Tennis hosts leagues and events at the Boylan Tennis Center in northwest Rockford.

During the outdoor season, June – August, we play at the Guilford Tennis Center in northeast Rockford, Harlem High School in Machesney Park, Hononegah High School in Rockton and Jefferson High School in southeast Rockfor.

The tennis court map shows the relative locations of public venues with lights, practice walls and four or more courts. It also shows the locations of the two private indoor tennis clubs.

Public venues with lights
The only lighted courts are at the Guilford Tennis Center. When a Rockford Park District employee is on-site to turn on the lights and open the bathrooms, courts 1–14 may be rented at a rate of $10/hour. At all other times, people may play under the lights on courts 1–5 on a first-come / first-served basis. Light switches are on the south wall of the administration building. There is no charge to use the courts when a Rockford Park District employee is not on-site. The lights shut off automatically at 10 p.m.
